When you are a pharmacy officer in the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps, your career will take you into a world of expanded scopes and diverse roles. As a USPHS pharmacy officer, you will work throughout the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and in other Federal agencies and programs—caring for patients; reviewing, approving, and monitoring new drugs; conducting research; and assisting in public health emergencies.
